At Bella Vita Dentistry, we offer our patients dental sealants to protect their teeth from plaque, tartar, and oral diseases that cannot be prevented with regular brushing. Cosmetic and general dentist, Dr. Joshua Foreman can apply plastic resin sealants to the top, chewing surface of the premolars or molars. Sealants act as a form of protection against tooth decay and future cavities. Of course, this quick and easy treatment will need to be followed-up with a routine dental regimen (brushing, flossing, and mouth wash), so that it can last for several years. Dr. Foreman will check the wear on your sealants at your routine check-ups in the times between visits. If you would like more information, please call our office in Trophy Club, TX today.

"Premier Dental office! No extra cost. He took my insurance and so my cost was the same as if I went to one of these corporate box practices who are just financial driven. He explained everything and the technology SHOWed me what I really needed so I could decide and not feel pressured. Exceptional experience! Plus I got free whitening."- M.S. / Yelp / Jul 13, 2017

What to Expect
One of the safeguards against tooth decay and tooth loss is to have dental sealants put on your teeth. For many years after the treatment, the dental sealant provides you with a protective barrier made precisely to fit and fill your premolars and molars. Dental sealant is made up of plastic resin painted on the teeth, and it bonds and strengthens the structure of the teeth treated. Dr. Foreman will discuss a personalized plan for the teeth you would like to be sealed.
Treatment & Aftercare
All you have to do to care for your plastic resin dental sealants is brush twice a day, floss, and use mouth wash. You can resume your regular routine after you leave our office. If you have special care instructions for your dental work, our staff or Dr. Foreman will provide them for you before you go. Annual dental examinations and bi-annual teeth cleanings are also recommended.
Dental sealants are charged per tooth, and you can expect to pay between $25 – $50 per tooth. Our billing coordinator can discuss with you what your insurance company will cover (fully or partially). For patients paying out of packet, payment plans and financing options through CreditCare will be reviewed by our office during the patient’s consultation.
