About Night Guards
Do you often find yourself clenching or grinding your teeth while you sleep? You may benefit from a night guard consultation at Bella Vita Dentistry. Also known as bruxism, teeth grinding in your sleep can lead to headaches, swelling, tooth sensitivity and pain, jaw and neck aches, and more. Cosmetic and general dentist, Dr. Joshua Foreman, provides custom-fit night guards in his office in Trophy Club, TX. Made from impressions of your own teeth and gums, our medical-grade night guards are sent to a dental laboratory to be made with the highest quality of materials. Call us and find out why it is important to invest in your teeth now rather than have expensive dental work in the future from years of damaging your teeth at night.
"Just phenomenal! Superb care, world class staff and super friendly!! You will be very very happy with the results!!!"- S.K. / Facebook / Oct 13, 2016
"This was the second time I had to get a mold for dentures. The first time at another place had been a terrible ordeal because I had to gag constantly. At Bella Vita this was not the case. Dr Foreman and his Dental Assistant Rachel did such a fantastic job that I never gagged and the mold was done in one try. What a pleasant experience that was. Bella Vita is a very unique dental office. The staff is extremely friendly, Dr. Foreman is the most gentle dentist I have ever been to. He listened to my concerns, and put me at ease, so that I knew immediately that I had come to the right place. He also knew about a horseshoe upper denture, which will eliminate all the gagging without implants, avoid unpleasant surgery and save a lot of money. I highly recommend Bella Vita. I will never go to another dentist."- G.M. / Google / Mar 23, 2018

What to Expect
We will take digital X-rays and impressions of your upper and lower teeth at your night guard consultation with Dr. Foreman. You will discuss what type of material is most appropriate for your condition and symptoms, and then Dr. Foreman will send the impressions and information to a dental laboratory to have your night guard made. After your night guard arrives at our office, we will schedule a fitting for you. If at the fitting the night guard does not properly fit or meet expectations, it may have to be sent back for further adjustments.
Treatment & Aftercare
For optimal results, you need to use your night guard every night while you sleep. With proper home care and cleaning, your night guard can last a long time. You will also be given special care instructions on how to best maintain the product. Dr. Foreman will want you to bring the night guard with you to all future dental check-ups and cleanings to make sure it does not need replaced or repaired.
Since your customize night guard is personalized to only fit your mouth (not a one-size-fits-all night guard purchased over-the-counter), you will need to make an investment in your dental health. While custom night guards are expensive, some of the costs may be covered under your insurance plan if it is deemed medically necessary. We can estimate a night guard cost to be in the range of $200 – $1,100, which is dependent on the size and materials used to produce it.
